Full Versions

For the majority of the game both games look and feel the same. However, the number of minor differences in the ntsc version compared to the pal version.

NTSC version

The NTSC version of the game was the original world release of Silent Hill 1, This version had all of the original enemies, areas and items.

Enemies

Puppet nuses/doctors (look like deformed nurses/doctors in the hospital), gint cockroches (sewers), mumblers (look like childen carrying knives in the school), stalkers (partly invisible ghosts in the school) Air Screamers (Night Flutters in the other world) around the town, Groaners (Wormhead in the other world )around the town, Rompers (looks like burnt adults) in the town, Creeper (giant insects n the hospital, school and sewers), Hanged Scratcher (sewers). The boss inluded Split Head (First Boss), Bloodsucker (in the other world hospital and the kitchen of nowhere), Twinfeed (Second Boss), Float Stinger (Third Boss), Puppet Cybil Bennet (Fourth Boss), Alessa or Samael (Final Boss).
